ABOUT
Giacomo Bucci (born July 16, 1990, in Isernia, Italy) is an Italian composer, percussionist, and arranger whose work bridges classical orchestration, film scoring, and contemporary sound design.
He began studying music at an early age, inspired by his musician father, and later pursued formal training in percussion at the Conservatorio “Lorenzo Perosi” in Campobasso. In 2018, he graduated cum laude with a Master’s degree in Applied Music for Multimedia Contexts, earning the highest honors (110/110 with distinction).
Throughout his career, Bucci has explored the intersection between rhythm, emotion, and image. His compositional voice blends cinematic lyricism with intricate percussive textures, drawing inspiration from figures such as John Williams, Ennio Morricone, and renowned percussionists including Giovanni Hidalgo, Tito Puente, and Luis Conte.
Giacomo Bucci’s music aims to create an emotional dialogue between sound and image — a language that combines classical structure, cinematic color, and modern rhythm. His work reflects a continuous search for expressive balance, blending orchestral tradition with contemporary sonic experimentation.
